The rhythm of the daily bustle has changed across time. Eons ago, and still today for many, bodily warmth or cool relief Followed fast the urgency of food. Too often a grumbling gut was safer than the threats beyond shelter and community. Inversion. Far too many are now threatened in their homes. They dwell unsafe in community. Shelter, while more abundant, is harder to secure and maintain. For all the wealth and advancement, why are so many exposed to the elements– hungry and unsafe? Whose advancement have we achieved and to what degree? We need equity. The truth remains: No one is free until all are free. The vision as I knelt beside bathtub, handwashing three treasures. A ritual reserved for items well preserved. Pulled through portal– A time when hands oft plunged water to purify fabric and fur, far more appreciated than now. We were grateful for the garments that graced us. Today we crave and cultivate excess. Put your hands in the water and recall. You’ve been here before. Parallel selves and past lives serve side-eye at the sagas we lament. Don’t repent, just be grateful. Bask in your abundance. Wherever you find it.

Sometimes my mind is filled with poetry, especially when words fail. When society fails us, we need the beauty of art to shine light in the dark.
What is your creative outlet? How are you adding love and beauty into the world? If not love and beauty in the aspirational sense, how are you documenting what you are experiencing? Whether it’s the details of your day and thoughts, or your take on the fall of empires—you will want to time-capsule of this experience. Do it for yourself so you can see how much you grow. Do it for posterity so you can chronicle our survival and our victory.
Take good care of yourself. Remember the healing power of water. Walk in the rain. Take a bath. Go for a swim. Sit near a lake, pond, or beach. If you still need a boost, check out my new course: Unlock Your Joy: The Empowerment Protocol. Reclaim your happiness and rediscover hope with me. Keep your face towards the sun, and shine on. Joy is your birthright regardless of the shenanigans out in the wider world.
Towards equanimity and justice,
